The Association for Shopping Complex and High-rise Management, popularly known as PPK, (which is the Bahasa Malaysia acronym for Persatuan Pengurusan Kompleks Malaysia) has been playing an important role as a professional partner contributing to the nation's phenomenal growth. PPK (M) was formed in 1984, during the most significant stage of Malaysia's leap into quantum growth.

Since then, PPK (M) has now evolved into a predominant role in growth as professionals in the shopping and highrise complex management discipline. It was the foresight of the pioneer members of the profession which saw the formation of PPK (M) which consists of members from shopping centers, highrise offices, and highrise apartments / condominiums.

Contrary to perception, management of shopping complexes and highrises involves the following functions:
